Run Course Guidelines

The run is almost entirely on trails.

Pre-running the course is highly recommended.

There is a planned water station around mile 1.5 of the run course and another at about mile 3.  If you need anything other than water you are on your own.  Aide may be accepted from the aide station or other racers but no one else.  You may not pre-place aide on the course for use during the race.

There will be other trail users on the course.  Runners must yield to horses.  Failure to do so will lead to immediate disqualification.
Littering will lead to immediate disqualification.

Wear appropriate footwear for trail running and wear appropriate clothing for the weather.

Many of the trails are single track; if you need to pass another runner signal to the runner which side you will be pass them on and then make the pass decisively and quickly after they have yielded the trail.

If you have any questions about the run course, please contact the race director.
